Issues that Ikonica can address

Turnover is down – Business isn’t as good as it used to be, we used to be booked with orders three months ahead, now it’s only three weeks.  We’ve got a big customer list but know very little about them or their purchasing patterns.  We’d like to get some new business, but am so busy dealing with current issues that I can’t take time out to do anything about it.

Expenses keep going up – There used to be plenty of money in the account, even after payroll and overheads. Now it’s beginning to look like a charity. Money seems to go right out the window.  I’d like to reduce our outgoings, have a good look at what expenses we can control, and stay on top of them. Are our associates contributing to the bottom line? Are performance measures linked to incentives to maximise profit?

Quality is suffering – Customers are grumbling, better alternatives are appearing, service delivery is uneven, cant seem to get that ‘wow’ back we once had. You know it, your customers know it, but you haven’t found anyone to sort it out.

Where are the patterns and trends – We spent a fortune on new information systems, but we don’t know how to use it to manage the business better.  The consultants don’t either. And most of the reports are useless!

“We’ve lost that spark” – The enthusiasm and sparkle we had in the heady early days is gone. Now projects take forever. Budget disuputes are increasingly heated, and goodwill generally has gone.

Interim Management – I think I know what I need to do, but can’t take time out to do it. I need someone to come in and oversee implementation of the changes, or identify the cause of the problems while I carry on managing daily affairs of the business.

Business is doing well,  I want to grow it further – How can I apply big business practices to grow further if I have never worked in a big business before.  I can’t afford to hire big business consultants to advise me, and have no interest in night school.
